Washington DC issued a recall of sling riders were said to be taken back to the company for replacement by the Infantino LLC. Infantino is a well known company that deals with making of sling riders that are used to carry small kids. The replacements of the sling from the company were made as soon as it could by the company due to adverse cases that were reported.
The slings caused harm to the young kids and the parents and guardian. Some children suffered from suffocation after they were bought by many consumers. Due to the weakness of children’s heads when they are young, sling must support their heads. Breathing problem can be caused by these slings when they block the kid from breathing by blocking the nose and their mouth causing suffocation to the young child. The suffocation takes part slowly since the oxygen supplied is limited due to the blockage of the sling.
This baby carrier was made from soft fabric. The baby carrier has got shoulders that are padded and is worn by the parent which enables them to comfortably carry the young ones that weigh 20 lbs or less.
Thailand and China were the main manufacturers of the slings.
