Faulty pedals recall by Toyota company
In United States, 2.3 million vehicles were recalled back by the Toyota Company due to the pedals that are used to accelerate on vehicles saying that they would lead to a great problem and probably accidents. This was a serious issue that made the Royal Society of Prevention of Accidents call an immediate recall of the vehicles’ from the buyers from different parts of the world.
While pressing the accelerator, it becomes harder due to the mechanism wearing down.

- Aygo
Examples of who experienced these frustrations.
- Aygo user, Catherine Block at the age of 28 years gave her frustration on how her Toyota vehicle that careered down on a slippery road with the accelerator was stuck. Luckily, she was not injured. She had to come up with a solution to unstuck the pedal while she was driving.
- The same car model crashed and killed four people after accelerating to more than 120 miles per hour in San Diego, this is due to the gas pedal that became harder to be pressed as it stuck.

It was said that this Toyota Company needed to solve the problem before it becomes a major disaster.

At any speed the accelerator pedal could get stuck or slow down frightening the user, one should take the vehicle to be checked, also if the vehicles behaved abnormal and changes were noted one should still go or take the vehicle straight to the garage.
